Question: It’s my start date and I do not have a response from a utility?
Answer: If a utility has not responded by your legal start date and time, the excavator may not begin excavation without all utility responses. UDIG NY will automatically send the utility that has not responded a new locate request once your start time and date has passed. You may contact the utility yourself by using the information provided to you on the locate request.
